The Nigeria national handball team, on Sunday, defeated DR Congo in their final warm match ahead of the Africa Nations Cup holding in Tunisia.
The National Male Handball side, who have previously played three warm up matches against Morocco, Tunisian Top flight handball club Olympique Sulayman and Cameroon, defeated their DR Congo counterpart 25-21 in a test game played in Tunis.
The team who are in the second phase of camping in Tunisia since January 1, 2020 after spending a full month of camping in Lagos from December 1, 2019, lost to Morocco and Olympique Sulayman with slim margin, then defeated Cameroon before this win against Congo.
The Coach Salami Sulu Rafiu tutored will now shift focus to their opening match of the nation cup against Angola.
