Nigeria Cycling Federation (NCF) president, Engineer Giandomewico Massari has thrown more light on the decision to camp the national team in Gombe, ahead of their trip to Eritrea for the Africa event.
While revealing to sports247.ng that the Africa Cup Road Race will hold from 21st to 25th of November in Eritrea, Massari said the hilly terrain in Gombe provides a perfect setting for the team’s training.
Massari told sports247.ng: “We decided to camp in Gombe because of the hilly terrain that features similarities with the terrain in Eritrea.”
