Captain of the Kaduna BSC, Chidozie Frank has stated that the tournament is an Avenue for players who don’t have the opportunity to play on the football pitch and showcase their skills.
The Amazing Captain stated this, following his team’s impressive form in the tournament.
In an interview with Sports 247, Frank stated that not all players are opportune to play in the field of play, but the introduction of the Beach Soccer League in the country by the NFF, it’s a great avenue for players to showcase their amazing football talents and skills.
“I feel very good and delighted about the league. We are not a Beach Soccer player but a grass football player, but here we are playing beach soccer because we don’t have clubs and aren’t opportune to play on the football pitch”.
“I would like to commend the NFF for bringing this idea to Nigeria. So that those players who aren’t opportune or who don’t have a club could have the chance to participate in the Beach Soccer Tournament. It’s a very nice one from them. I just hope they continue with the good work and take it higher to the next level”, he emphasized.
While still speaking with Sports 247, Frank stated that the tournament will bring happiness and joy to the youths in the country, as so many of them are delighted to participating in it, as it being their first time.
“It’s a very good one because it will bring happiness and joy to the youths because so many of them haven’t played this game before and so many are interested in playing this game for the first time. Even myself, I enjoy playing Beach Soccer now more than football, so I am delighted and I believe our youths are also happy”, he stated.
