Following his team’s 5-2 Victory over HCF BSC on Day three (3) of the Nigeria Beach Soccer League, Player of Smart City, Godswin Taro has hailed the NFF and its committee for organizing the tournament, which he said is the best platform for players to showcase their talents.
The Amazing Player stated this in a chat with Sports 247, after helping his side secure an emphatic 5-2 Victory over HCF BSC in Match Day 3 of the Nigerian Beach Soccer League.
According to Taro, he stated that the tournament was a great experience for him, as he was always looking for an opportunity to showcase his football talents, while commending the efforts of the football Administrators in Nigeria (NFF), for setting up the tournament which he admitted was the best platform for the players to showcase their skills.
“It was a very nice experience for me to participate in because I have been looking forward to getting this kind of experience to showcase the skills I have in me”.
“I will also like to commend the NFF and its committee for organizing this tournament. This is a very good platform for us (the Players) to showcase our talents because this is the best organization we are going to get in Africa. So by the Special Grace of God, we are going to take advantage of this experience we got here with all seriousness”, he stated.
The Nigeria Beach Soccer League commenced in Lagos on Friday (2nd April 2021), with Smart City winning 2 games out of 3 matches that they played in the tournament.
