Nigeria Beach Soccer Coach Parries Fear Of Egypt

Nigeria’s beach soccer national team, Super Sand Eagles coach, Audu Adamu (Ejor) has brushed aside any fear of Egypt at the forthcoming continental championship.

Though the Egyptians are hosts of the competition and have played a series of build-up matches, ‘Ejor’ stressed in a chat with sports247.ng that his players are up to the task expected of them.

He stressed that, despite Egypt’s consistent friendly matches to keep themselves fit and ready for the African Beach Soccer Cup of Nations on their home soil, he is not afraid of them.

Rather than be wary of the hosts, ‘Ejor’ enthused that, by the time the tournament starts, the difference will be clear between the better sides.

Adamu added: “The question of Nigeria’s readiness, as against that of the host country, will be answered when the competition finally begins.

“On whether Nigeria has a chance of winning the championship due to lack proper preparation, I can tell you that we will be ready.

“In fact, the only threat to my team is Senegal, not any other team; but even them we will be ready for. We will not be easy to beat in Egypt.”
