The Niger Tornadoes, under the leadership of head coach Majin Mohammed, have been on a remarkable run of form in the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL).
The team recently secured a resounding 5-0 victory over Gombe United, marking their fifth win in six games.

When asked about the secret behind this impressive streak, Coach Mohammed attributed it to a combination of factors. “First of all, let me give glory to God,” he began. “On the secret, I myself can’t explain it, but the boys are in good shape and are ready to go. I think that is the secret.”
He went on to highlight the role of the management and the unwavering support from the Nigerlites, especially the Niger state government headed by Honorable and former governor Muhammadu Bago. “They have been of tremendous support and I think that is what is moving the boys,” he said.
The team’s recent success has not only brought joy to their fans but also instilled a sense of hope and anticipation for the future. The players’ readiness, coupled with the motivation from the management and the support from the community, has created a winning formula that has propelled the Niger Tornadoes to their current run of form.

Niger Tornadoes will travel to Akwa to face Akwa United in their next NPFL match and the coach says they will continue to their best and take every game as they come and they will be expecting a positive result against Akwa United.
Niger Tornadoes currently sits in the top half of the log at 9th place with 39 points.
