The Management of Niger Tornadoes Football Of Minna has congratulated the newly elected President of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) Alh. MUSA IBRAHIM GUSAU.
A statement by the Club’s Chairman Hon. Adamu Aliyu Mohammed made available to the press, described the election as free and fair and winners’ duly deserved.
In an election conducted in Edo, Benin City saw Ibrahim Musa Gusau emerged the as the Country’s football boss after sweeping 39 votes as against Peterside Idah’s 1 upon a re-run and thereafter declared winner at the Elective Congress of the NFF which took place at the Edo Heritage Hotel.
Alh. Musa Ibrahim Gusau is the Chairman of Zamfara State Football Association and occupied the Office of Chairman of Chairmen of the NFF for 8 years before emerging as the new President Of Nigeria Football Federation.
Adamu Aliyu in his congratulatory message to the newly elected president of the NFF, Musa Ibrahim Gusau, said his emergence is well deserved because of his vast knowledge and background in the football administration.
While expressing confidence in the ability of the newly elected president and board members, Adamu Aliyu said he has no doubt that the new men have all requisite knowledge to move Nigeria Football to greater heights.
The Chairman prayed Allah (S.W.T) to grant the new Board of NFF a successful tenure.
