Speaking during the post-match press conference, Majin revealed that the victory was a deliberate mission to end Rangers’ dominance over his team.
“We came here determined to avenge last season’s defeats to Rangers, and I’m not surprised by the result because we worked hard for this,” he stated.
“Rangers were the only team we couldn’t take points from last season. After losing in Minna, we resolved to end their dominance, and we’ve achieved that today.”
Majin also praised his team’s character, highlighting the performances of new players like Ismail Sarki and Adebambo Ademola, who stepped up in the absence of top scorer Joseph Godstime, who has traveled abroad.
