Niger Tornadoes FC have embarked on closed camping ahead of the new league season scheduled to commence next month.
Some key officials, Technical Crew and Players of the State Darling Team left Minna for Kontagora on Monday for a pre-season closed camping in preparation for 2023/2024 Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) season.
The essence of the one-week closed camping is to allow Hamza Abarah’s led technical crew concentrate fully on different training programmes, build the players fitness level and stamina with focus towards the commencement of new football season.
The Ikon Allah Boys had their first training session at the newly renovated Kontagora Township Stadium on monday afternoon and will continue their training programme at the stadium throughout this week.
Meanwhile, the draws for the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) 2023-2024 season will hold today in Abuja, while the league has been scheduled to kickoff on the 10th of September.
