Kano Pillars striker Nyima Nwangua has reflected on his match-winning strike that defeated Kada City at the ongoing Ahlan Cup in Kano.
It was a tough game at the Kano Pillars Stadium on Wednesday, but the forward’s goal settled matters in notable fashion.
“It was a nice goal with a beautiful end result. The most important thing is the three points, we were not very strong but we have won the game,” the striker enthused to Ahlan Cup Media.
“I saw the ball and right away I just wanted to shoot at goal because we really worked hard.
“In the end it went well, this is a victory achieved by the whole team and you have to give a 10 to everyone.
“It is true that the game could have ended goalless. The match was decided by a single action, I took the ball, tried shooting and it turned out well. On a personal level I am very pleased.”
