Nigeria’s foremost football fans group, the Nigeria Football Supporters Club (NFSC), have been in their best entertainment elements since the beginning of the equally exciting matches of the ongoing Naija Super 8 Championship, at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena, Onikan, Lagos.
The world famous band of the NFSC have been adding spices, excitements and glamour to the atmosphere during games. What with their popular and new inspiring songs, that has continued to thrill the players and the soccer fans.
Speaking to journalists at the venue of the ongoing matches, leader of the NFSC band, Oluyemisi James, said entertaining and cheering Nigerian football teams to excellent performances at all games, has been the age-long tradition of the NFSC, since it was founded well over 63 years.
“Football is our love. It’s our passion, here at the Nigeria Football Supporters Club. We are renowned for our inspirational songs and entertaining dances all over the world. We have laughed, celebrated and cried with the various national football teams at different championships, as the 12th player,” James remarked.
Meanwhile, the National Chairman of NFSC, Ambassador (Rev). Samuel Ikpea, has equally commended Flykite Productions, the organisers of the epochal tournament for giving soccer loving Nigerian soccer fans, a near flawless soccer fiesta, so far.
“I commend Flykite Productions for this tournament. It’s been so good. And the matches, have been excitingly unpredictable. They have joined the NFF, coming from the recently held NPL Super 6, to raise the bars in the organisation of football in Nigeria.
“Therefore, on behalf of NFSC and other soccer loving Nigerians, we say kudos. And asked that they don’t rest on their lofty oars,” Ikpea remarked.
