Edo State Deputy Governor, Honorable Philip Shaibu sent a message to the players Union at the ongoing NFF Congress in Benin City, Edo State Sports247 confirms.
While declaring the NFF 78th AGA/Elective Congress open, Hon. Philip who played for Bendel Insurance in the 2022 Nigeria National League season, reminded the players union that he’s one of them and urged them to come together to move the country’s football forward and not send threats flying.
“To our players union, I’m one of you,” he said.
“Please, let’s have a meeting and build our football, not by threatening each other- let’s all come together and have things sorted,” he concluded.
