Nigeria football Federation President Amaju Pinnick is gradually becoming the ‘promise keeper’ as he pays all outstanding promises made to the Super Falcons as the get set for today’s AWCON 2018 final show down with South Africa.
Pinnick highly motivated the team with a promise to pay each player of the Super Falcons 10,000 USD instead of the 5000 USD previously agreed upon, if only the can defeat South Africa to cart home the title and offer him a befitting birthday present.
These certainly means, each player will be paid approximately 3.5million (10,000 USD) by the time they file out with a victory against South Africa in today’s final.
While the girls are still basking in the euphoria, the NFF has gone a step ahead to assure their thirst for dollars by paying 95% of their outstanding qualifying winning bonuses.
The NFF have so far cleared all outstanding bonuses owed players from the away win in Gambia and the full bonuses for all three victories recorded so far at the ongoing African Women Cup of Nations in Ghana.
