“This is not an advisory but a task force”. The chairman of the task force and an astute administrator per excellence, Alhaji Aminu kurfi Balele spoke to the press immediately after the inauguration of the committee that is saddled with the responsibility of Age grade teams U17, U20, and U23 by the NFF.
“We are pleased to accept this responsibility and to contribute our own quota to Grassroots development in our country. Grassroots football is key to the Development of any nation’s football and our country is not an exemption.
“I want to thank the President of the Nigeria Football Federation, Alhaji Ibrahim Gusau for the confidence he has bestowed on me and two other football administrators, Hon. Bukola Olopade and Alhaji Abba Mukhtar. We will do our best.
“I’m leaving this Inauguration venue, straight to the Airport to support the U23 team in Lagos. We will surely get it right in this new dispensation”, the Katsina-born administrator concluded.
