The Spiritual leader of the INRI evangelical church, Primate Elijah Ayodele has urged the new NFF President, Ibrahim Gusau to amend the mistakes made by his predecessor and engage capable hands to move Nigeria football forward.
Primate Elijah Ayodele urges the aspirants that contested the NFF election to come together and show their support to the incumbent NFF President Ibrahim Gusau and his board because there were no losers in the election that everyone is a winner as they all had the ambition of moving Nigeria football forward.
“There’s no loser, everyone is a winner, all football stakeholders should throw their weight behind Ibrahim Gusau for greater things to happen in our football. All aspirants that lost during the election should join hands with Gusau.
“Pinnick has done so well, Gusau should constitute an advisory board where the immediate past NFF President and former NFF Presidents will be members, including ex-players and the supporters club.
“Gusau should unite the supporters club and make them one, journalists should also be carried along.
“Gusau needs capable hands so that our football can move forward.
“I believe in Gusau time, Nigeria football will move forward if he listens to my advice.
“Gusau should revive handicap (Disability) football and beach soccer, players should be paid as at when due, players should not be owed.”
