Secretary-general of Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), Dr Mohammed Sanusi has dispelled reports in some quarters that the soccer body is owing Super Eagles’ coach, Gernot Rohr some amount of money.
In dispelling the reports, Sanusi told sports247.ng that it is just another case of unfounded rumours making the rounds across the media.
Sanusi stressed that the NFF is not in any way indebted to Rohr or any other member of the crew, backroom staff or players.
He insisted that, with regards to alleged non-payment of salaries and allowances in the Eagles, the NFF cannot be found wanting for now.
Sanusi declared: “I can assure you that no member of the national team is owned a dime right from the period of the Russia 2018 World Cup to this very moment.”
