The entire Management, Technical Crew, Backroom staff and players of Osun Babes FC has congratulated the newly elected president of the Nigeria Football Federation, Alhaji Ibrahim Musa Gusau and all members of the executive committee on their emergence at the 2022 NFF elective congress held in Benin City, Edo State on Friday.
This is contained in a release signed on behalf of the management by club’s Team Manager, Mr Tope Akinbade where he described the emergence of Alhaji Gusau as the new NFF President as wonderful development which will in no small way catapult the fortunes of Nigerian football to greater heights.
“Alhaji Gusau has shown over the years that he is a worthy ambassador of Nigerian football as he has always shown himself in an outstanding manner in the discharge of his duties as a trustworthy and hardworking man in his previous role in the NFF.”
” In this new role, I am praying that God Almighty will bestow on Alhaji Gusau and all his executive members the wisdom, knowledge and understanding to paddle the canoe of Nigerian football to an enviable destination.” Said Mr Akinbade.
In the same vein, Osun Babes also rejoiced with Chairperson of The Nigerian Women Football League (NWFL), Mrs Aisha Falode on her election as an Executive Committee Member of the NFF.
Mr Akinbade described Mrs Falode’s emergence as a reward for her wonderful works and success as the Chairperson of the NWFL.
He however urged her to use her wealth of experience to help in developing Nigerian football.
