The Rotary Club happens to be one of the oldest existing clubs in Lagos state and Nigeria at large having so many chapters spread across the board.
Newly elected District Governor, Remi Bello, who terms his administration as the “Change Maker” has moved into action, taking steps and bringing people up to speed with the current development and actions taken by his administration.
The installation ceremony was witnessed by the Governor of Oyo State who was represented by the Deputy Chief of Staff. It was a well-attended event by Rotary leaders led by Past Rotary International Vice President and Director, PDG Yinka Babalola; other District Governors from the three districts in Nigeria, the Doyen of Past District Governors in Nigeria, PDG Juli Adelusi-Adeluyi, Past District Governors and their spouses.
The District Governor in his address promised to support sporting projects around the community to bring development while also ensuring other projects are met to boost the total growth of its members and the community.
