Rolly Stars of Nigeria is the new latest entrant to the Nigeria Nationwide league one after the Benin based club revealed thier ambition to compete at the top level of football in Nigeria as they fight thier way up to the Nigeria Professional Football League, the nation’s highest league football.
The club Marketing Director, Fred Newton Erhunmwunse confirmed that the club has not only come to stay but to also play to the highest level of football in Nigeria.
Fred Newton Erhunmwunse who is also doubles the club media officer said, “Rolly Stars Football Club is based here in Benin-City and we will be competing in the Nation-wide League one once the pandemic is over and football is given the green light to commence. The club is blessed with a Chairman, Mr Roland Inonojie who has decided to dedicate his life to football just as we have a very experienced club Secretary in the person of Kenneth Ugbodaga who has been great”.
“The club’s coach is the former Super Eagles winger, Ndubuisi Okosieme. As you can see, we are a very ambitious side and we are very bold about it”, this is a very challenging course we have embarked on, the step has already been taken and we are sure we will definitely get that global recognition”, he affirmed.
