New Amavubi Coach Amrouche Urges National Unity for World Cup Qualification

Newly appointed head coach of the Amavubi, Adel Amrouche, has vowed to lead the Rwandan U20 team to a World Cup berth by harnessing collective strength and belief. Speaking at his unveiling in Kigali, Amrouche stressed the importance of unity among players and fans alike as Rwanda prepares for the upcoming qualifiers.

“This chance and responsibility given to me, I will do my best with my people to achieve our target. All together, we can do something. Alone I can do nothing. He further stressed his commitment to the team by saying  “I’m going to bring my stone to build. I am sure we are going to do it all. You know, football today, I’m here, tomorrow I’m going, but when I am here together, we will do something special.

We are going to do something special. You must believe like I believe. You must believe it. Why not? It’s possible. As they do, the leader changes the country; in the top country in Africa, we can change our football to be the best country in African football,” Amrouche declared.

The coach also pointed out that Rwanda has the talent and resilience to compete against Africa’s best, emphasizing that success in international football is built on the foundation of teamwork and positive mindset.
