Nigeria Police Judo champion, Nelson Ajaero, (AKA) AJAY has won a Gold medal in the United States Open Judo Championship.

The Imo State-born champion won the medal in the 100kg men’s category at the 34th US Open Judo Championships held in the United States of America.
Recall that he won the Police Judo championship before proceeding to represent the country at the US Open Judo Championship which was held from the 28th-30th July, 2023.
