The team from Uyo, Akwa Ibom State had to settle for a 1-1 draw away to Tradesafe FC of Lagos, after failing to convert several chances that came their way during the encounter.

However, after admitting that his side have been facing a litany of missed chances throughout this season, the former under-23 national team captain said it will soon be a thing of the past.

The ebullient erstwhile defender of Rangers International of Enugu in his heyday added that he will use the remaining five matches of the season to stabilize his squad in the NNL.

He reckoned that they may not be able to gain promotion to the Nigerian Professional Football League (NPFL), but stressed that he does not have any worries about relegation.

Ndah recounted, “It was a good game. In the first half, it was very tough. A very good display of football in both halves, and I think the best result is what we got.
“I also think it’s good for both teams because a point each is satisfactory for both sides in this match,” the jocular player-turned-coach analysed.

Ndah then opened up about his team’s profligacy in front of goal, adding: “Missing good chances has been our bane this season.
“Many matches we’ve played, we always get many chances to score, but we are unable to utilize our chances.

“It was also a bane stopping our success in this game. That is a very big problem for us, but we are working on it.

“We believe that, by the grace of God, we will overcome it. In subsequent games, we will improve on our chances during matches.

“I don’t think about relegation, but I had been hoping we could get three points here, and it would give us a boost towards our next match at home.

“I was hoping for victory so that we could think of getting close to the people on top. We are not thinking of relegation, but promotion is on a tiny rope for us.”
