Kwale township stadium in Ndokwa west L.g.a will be agog tomorrow Sunday 6th December 2020 as the Ndokwa/Ukwuani All-stars football club will honour one of their own Hon. Kenneth Nwaomucha with a novelty match.
The creme de la creme of the society and top politicians will be on hand to honour this worthy son of Ndokwa nation who has distinguished himself in the world of football.
A novelty match has been planned between the Ndokwa/Ukwuani All-stars football club and the Delta state All-stars football club which promises to be highly explosive as Hon. Ken Nwaomucha an ex-international who started his football career in his secondary school days with Essi college and Hussey college Warri before playing professional football with the defunct NNPC football club Warri and Flash Flamingos football club Benin city onwards to playing in the National team will feature for one of the teams to showcase his skills which he was known for in his playing days.
Dignitaries expected to grace the occasion includes Hon. Ochor C. Ochor Deputy speaker DTHA who is the special guest of honour, Chief Godwin Obielum as Father of the day, Chief Sir Monday Onyeme Chairman of the day.
Other dignitaries also expected are Sir Chief Fidelis Okenmor Tilije, Hon. Friday Osanebi, Chief Obi Nzete, Barr. Ndudi Osakuni, Barr. Leonard Anuka, Chief Tonobok Okowa, Chairman Delta state sports commission, Chief Festus Ochonogor, Chief Chinonye Daphey, Hon. Charles Emetulu, Hon. Noye Ossai, Hon. Ikechukwu Akozor and other members of the ruling party in the state.
In his reaction, Hon. Ken Nwaomucha who is presently the Chairman Delta state football Association said ” I am overwhelmed by this great show of love by my people of Ndokwa nation. Football is my life and what I know best and as such this honour is not out of place. I am proud of my people and I appreciate them for recognizing my contribution to Ndokwa nation and Delta state through football. This will spur me more to continue to do my best in my field of endeavour and I promise not to let them down”
