Ndokwa Association Of Atlanta USA Donates School Materials To Pupils Of Igbe Ogume Primary School

The Ndokwa Association of Atlanta branch United States of America in partnership with Paul Okoku’s Greater Tomorrow Children Foundation (GTCF) donated school materials including, uniforms to indigent pupils of Igbe Ogume primary school in Ndokwa West local government area of Delta State.

The team led by ex international Edema Fuludu accompanied by former footballers Mobosa Brodericks, Chief Andrew Uti and Pastor Peter Nwosa,  gave out 35 bags which included one school uniform, four notebooks, six biros, six pencils and four rulers.

In addition, refreshments of biscuits and soft drinks was made available to the children, staff and parents who were present at the presentation ceremony.

In making the presentation, Edema Fuludu said Paul Okoku, may be in the USA, but his heart is with his community and Nigeria vulnerable children at large.

Paul Okoku’s efforts goes beyond this event. He is leading a national initiative to bring attention to primary schools and inspire others to support their respective schools while continuing to support their high schools and universities. He noted,”primary schools are the foundation of our academic successes and yet, they have been overlooked for too long.”

Speaking at the event, the Headmistress Mrs Veronica C. Olise, said she is overwhelmed with joy to see her financially struggling pupils get support and asked that God in his infinite mercy bless the donors and Paul Okoku for remembering them.

The PTA chairman and parents who came were happy and prayed to God to grant more grace to the donors and the team that came to do the presentation.
