Ndidi: We’ll Keep Working For Better Results

Leicester City of England midfielder, Wilfred Onyinyen Ndidi is taking the sack of the club’s coach, Claude Puel in good fate, as he says it means the players have to work harder for better results, sports247.ng reports.

While admitting that the players were unable to save Puel’s job, due to the chain of poor results they picked up along the line, Ndidi is of a view that they can recover from their latest setback and redeem their season.

Such is Ndidi’s confidence, despite last weekend’s damaging 4-1 home defeat by Crystal Palace, as the former Racing Genk of Belgium star says The Foxes just have to pick up the pieces and start converting all chances that come their way during their subsequent matches.

Ndidi added: “We always try our best, and sometimes it doesn’t go our way. We can’t sit back and let it get us down, we just try to work hard and move forwards.

“The most important thing is to try and convert our chances at the right time. I think if we convert more chances, we go up in the game and it’ll give us more confidence to go forward.
“That’s the other important thing, getting points from games. If we get points from games, it gives you the edge to move towards the top.
“Because of the quality of players we’ve got, we just need to work hard and look forward to the next game.”
