Leicester City midfielder, Wilfred Onyinyen Ndidi is bound to get a new partner in the squad, as The Foxes are considering recalling Harvey Barnes from his loan spell at West Bromwich Albion.
Sports247.ng gathered that Ndidi will get a new partner to replace one that has recently departed, which left Leicester coach, Puel’s options in midfield largely reduced.
That came after the club sold one of Ndidi’s partners, Vicente Iborra to Villarreal, thereby increasing the likelihood of a recall for Barnes to step into the vacuum.
Ndidi would be delighted top learn that Barnes has impressed on loan at The Hawthorns so ar this season, scoring nine goals in 28 appearances, and has played a key role in West Brom’s promotion push.
Ndidi should now prepare to adapt alongside the returnee, as Puel had earlier declared that if Barnes comes back to Leicester, it will be with a plan for him to play.
