Nigeria’s paralympics and powerlifting star, Ndidi Nwosu has been pronounced dead after a long term injury fight off ended her life in the earlier hours of today.
Nwosu won Gold in the 2018 common wealth games and sustained this life threatening injury while on duty in Gold Coast Sports and Leisure Centre, Carrara, Australia.
The deceased who started powerlifting in 2008 because she liked the sport as it improved her health and strength is also an Accounting graduate at Imo State University, Owerri, Nigeria.
The Nigerian powerlifter who recorded a breathtaking victory at the 2016 Summer Paralympics where she lifted 140 kilograms is survived by husband and her children.
