President of the Nigeria Cycling Federation (NCF), Engineer Giandomewico Massari has revealed that the federation has set up a committee to wade into any issue that may arise from cases of doping related offences.
According to Massari, he said they are discouraging any athlete involved in a drug enhance performance believing that using banned substance is an illegal practice they will not encourage as a federation.
“The International Olympic Committee (IOC) and the Doping Agency have zero tolerance to banned substances in Sports,” Massari began in a chat with Sports247.ng.
“We at the Nigeria Cycling Federation aren’t exempted in maintaining sanity in our own area of specialization.”
“We have already set up a committee that will look into matters relating to Doping offences. Our hard stance on doping is very intact.”
