NAWFA League LOC Members Pay Condolence Visit to Plateau FA After Tragic Accident Claims Four Footballers’ Lives

The LOC members of the NAWFA League paid a condolence visit to the Plateau State Football Association, led by interim Chairman Moses Nagogo Bako, following a tragic motor accident that claimed the lives of four footballers from Kanke.

The players were returning from a friendly match in Pankshin when the unfortunate incident occurred.

During the visit, Chairman Bako offered heartfelt prayers for the souls of the departed, wished a speedy recovery for the injured, and extended comfort to the grieving families and the football community in Plateau State.

He expressed deep sorrow over the loss and conveyed his sympathy to the affected teammates and families.

In a statement signed by Hon. Dr. Suleiman Yahaya Kwande, Chairman of the Plateau State Football Association, the association expressed its condolences to the bereaved families, the football team, and the Kanke Local Government.

Describing the incident as both shocking and deeply saddening, the statement reaffirmed the association’s solidarity and commitment to support the victims’ families during this difficult time.

The LOC members were visibly moved by the tragedy and commended the resilience of the local football community in the face of such a heartbreaking event.
