Two goals courtesy of Effiong Peace are enough to land the Lagos girls into the deciding final at the Austin Jay-Jay Okocha Stadium, Ugwashi-Uku, Delta State.

She scored an opener with a fine brilliant goal in two minutes before adding another one in the 53rd minute to seal the victory.

Eko girls humiliated host Delta 5-0 in their first match at the same venue following today’s successful outing with the Cross River girls.

Effiong Peace gives kudos to her teammates for their contribution to the two goals against Cross River.

She said, “If not for the help of my teammates l wouldn’t be able to score the two goals. We are going for the gold, that’s our aim”. We will double our efforts because more goals need to be scored in the final”, said Peace.

They will meet their counterpart from the South-West region of Ogun State in the final.
