Team Lagos caught the attention of spectators at the ongoing National Youth Games as they received loud ovation and cheers at the ceremony for donning unique and impressive display during the match past.

No fewer than 299 athletes are representing Lagos, competing in 33 individual and team sports event at the under 15 competition. The Athletes described the opportunity to represent their states as a privilege they so much cherished.
More than 5,742 athletes from the 36 states, including the Federal Capital Territory are competing for medals in 35 different sports at the 7th edition of the National Youth Games scheduled to end with the closing ceremony on Saturday, September 30.
The opening ceremony of the National Youth Games taking place in Asaba, Delta State was held on Saturday, 23rd of September at the main bowl of Stephen Keshi Stadium.
The colorful ceremony saw great display by the participants who featured in the match past before the dignitaries
