Team Lagos utility player, Endurance Ukaki has stated that the Lagos State male football team are getting stronger ahead of the upcoming National Sports Festival.
The Amazing midfielder admitted this after helping his side play out a fascinating 2-2 draw against NPFL side, MFM FC in a friendly match at the Agege Stadium after they had lost their previous friendly game 2-0 against Gateway FC.
In a chat with Sports247 after the match, Endurance commended the great performance of him and his teammates, most especially playing out a 2-2 draw against a strong Premier League team like MFM Fc. He admitted that his team are getting stronger and stronger with the help of the friendly games, as they look forward to the National Sports Festival, come February.
“It was not an easy game, most especially playing against an NPFL side like MFM Fc, and we (Lagos State football team) are selected players from various individual clubs. We tried our best and played well, most especially playing out a 2-2 draw against a strong team like MFM Fc, it’s not easy, we really tried our best”.
“Team Lagos is getting stronger every day, we learned our Lessons in the defeat against Gateway Fc, so today, we had to produce our best, which we have been doing in training”, he admitted.
Endurance Ukaki, whose dream is to play in Europe someday in the future, will hope for a successful outing for him and his teammates when the National Sports Festival commences in Benin.
