Bayer Leverkusen of Germany winger, Nathan Tella has revealed the secret of his recent bust of goals scoring form, which apparently accounted for his recall to the roster of Nigeria’s national team, the Super Eagles.
Sports247 reports that Tella was on Tuesday included in the first list rolled out by Eagles’ new coach, Eric Chelle, and it came less than 72 hours after the youngster netted for his club in the Germsn Bundesliga.

After hitting target once again for Leverkusen, Tella gave plaudits to his teammates and coach, as he cited their support that helped him regain his scoring form in the team.
Sports247 reports further that another goal by Tella over the past weekend appeared to have signalled his return to the Eagles, as the former Southampton of England dazzler was included in Nigeria’s provisional list on Tuesday ahead of two make or break games later this month.
The youngster will now hope to make the final cut for the Eagles’ crucial 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers away to Rwanda on March 21st and at home versus Zimbabwe four days later in Uyo.
After netting against Eintracht Frankfurt at the weekend, Tella admitted he was happy to hit target, then thanked his colleagues and the tactician for helping him make hay once again.
“I want to play well in every game. That’s why I’m happy that I’ve got a team and coach who allow me to express myself on the pitch. I was happy that we were able to get the win, but, obviously, to score in the match was very nice,” Tella admitted
