The Management, Officials, Players, and Supporters of Nigeria Professional Football League side, Nasarawa United, have condoled with the State’s Commissioner for Youth and Sports Development, Hon. Othman Bala Adam, over the demise of his immediate younger sister, Hajiya Maryam Talatu Lawal.
Chairman of the Club, Barr. Isaac Danladi who sent the condolence message on behalf of the Club said:
“On behalf of the entire Management, Officials, Players and Supporters of Nasarawa United Football Club, I wish to commiserate with the Commissioner for Youth and Sports Development, Hon. Othman Bala Adam, and his family, over the shocking news of the death of his younger sister.
“Indeed, it is very painful to lose a loved one. It is even more painful when the deceased comes from the same parenthood with our dearly beloved Honourable commissioner.
“But God knows best and we cannot question His will.
“We pray that the late Maryam Talatu Lawal will find peace with her creator.
“Our thoughts and prayers are with the Honourable Commissioner, Othman Bala Adam, during this trying period.
“We also pray that God will grant the immediate family of the deceased and all those affected by this sad development the fortitude to bear the huge loss.”
The late Maryam Talatu Lawal died on Monday night at the Nagari Hospital, Keffi, following a brief illness.
She was buried on Tuesday, 16th February, 2021, according to Islamic rites, at the Dadin Kowa Cemetery, Keffi, Nasarawa State.
