In a significant move to solidify partnerships and chart a path to success, the newly constituted Board of Nasarawa United Football Club paid a courtesy visit to the Nasarawa State Football Association on Tuesday.
The visit was part of the Board’s familiarization tour and aimed to strengthen relationships, foster collaboration, and gain insight into the operations and initiatives of the State Football Association.
Led by the Club’s Chairman, Solomon Babanjah, the delegation engaged in productive discussions with the Executives of the State Football Association, focusing on development initiatives and partnership opportunities.
The meeting underscored the importance of aligning the Club’s strategies with the broader goals of football governance and promotion within the state.
“The Nasarawa State Football Association plays a vital role in governing and promoting football in the State,” emphasized Solomon Babanjah, expressing his commitment to collaboration.
“We are committed to working closely with them to ensure that Nasarawa United adheres to the highest standards and contributes to the sport’s growth,” he added, highlighting the Club’s dedication to upholding excellence both on and off the pitch.
Responding to the visit, the Chairman of the State FA, Salisu Galadima ‘Basira’, expressed his gratitude to the Board and pledged unwavering support for Nasarawa United.
He emphasized the importance of teamwork in achieving the Club’s objectives, noting that the new Board members were carefully selected by Governor Abdullahi Sule for their expertise and track records in sports.
The visit underscores the new Board’s dedication to building strong relationships with key stakeholders, laying a solid foundation for Nasarawa United’s success in the upcoming 2024/25 Nigeria Premier Football League season.
The Club is set to kick off their campaign on Sunday, September 8th, 2024, hosting Shooting Stars Sport Club of Ibadan at the Lafia City Stadium.
