Chairman, Nasarawa State Football Normalization Committee, Hon. Aliyu Bello, on Tuesday, paid an unscheduled visit to Nasarawa United FC during their Pre-Season game against Abuja-based FC Abuja, at the FIFA Goal Project, Package B, Moshood Abiola National Stadium, Abuja.
The Chairman of Nasarawa United FC, Dr. Othman Ahmed Ibrahim, alongside his Management members, was on hand to receive the august visitor.
Aliyu Bello who also doubles as Chairman, All Progressives Congress, APC, Nasarawa State, took time to watch the match between Nasarawa United versus FC Abuja which eventually ended 0-0 apiece.
He boosted the team’s morale with the cash sum of Two Hundred Thousand Naira(N200,000.00).
Earlier, the Club’s Chairman briefed Aliyu Bello on the Pre-Season activities of the Solid Miners and how they are preparing for the 2023/24 Nigeria National League’s Season.
He assured that members of the Club would do everything within their powers to justify the confidence reposed in them by qualifying to the elite league, the Nigeria Premier Football League, next season.
Since arriving Nigeria’s Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Abuja, on Thursday, 19th October, 2023, Nasarawa United have played a total of nine matches, winning seven, drawing two, and yet to lose any.
They will play a game more on Wednesday before returning to their base in Lafia ahead of the 2023/24 NNL Season’s kick-off slated for Saturday, 28th October, 2023.
