The Nasarawa State Football Association (NSFA) has announced that the final of the 2022/2023 State League will be played on the 10th of February, 2023.
The date was announced immediately after the meeting between the State FA board and the FA Chairman, Alhaji Mohammed Alkali.
According to Mohammed Alkali, all modalities are already in place for a smooth finals.
“We’ve been working round the clock to see that we conclude the State league so as to start preparing for the forthcoming season”.
Agatu United, Aza will battle Golden Boys of Lafia at the Federal University Lafia football pitch.
Dignitaries expected to grace the final includes The Executive Governor Of Nasarawa State, Engr. A.A. Sule, The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) President, Alhaji Ibrahim Gusau, The Chairman of Chairmen, Alhaji Ahmed Fresh and all 36 F.A chairmen plus the F.C.T.
While also speaking, Alhaji Mohammed Alkali also disclosed that the Engr. A.A Sule Governor’s Cup will kickoff in the month of February as teams from different local government will battle out for the top prize.
Nasarawa State has thirteen local governments and all will not be left out as all will present a team each to compete amongst themselves as the Nasarawa State FA continues to develop sports at the grassroots level.
