“Incidentally, this is going to happen in the presence of Permanent Secretaries of the various Ministries in the State who are already here for a closed door meeting with you.
“Secondly, I am here with a few of my Board Members to present you with our souvenir kits, not because you are the Head of Service but because you have distinguished yourself in the discharge of your duties to the State.
“We need people like you in our fold to further boost our morale to achieve our target.
“I would also want to use this medium to invite other Permanent Secretaries who are here, whether male or female, to join us to enable us succeed.
“We hope that your doors of support would always be opened to us whenever we knock.
“Going forward, more of these souvenir kits would be made available to all the Permanent Secretaries in the State as a mark of our appreciation to you for your support.
“I want to thank the Permanent Secretary of my Ministry, Chief Barr. Isaac Danladi, for facilitating the success of this meeting with you today.”
Reacting, the Head of Civil Service, Barr. Abigail Nbasu Waya, said the gesture was well appreciated, noting that she would give the Amazons the needed support to succeed in the elite women’s football league.
“This is, indeed, a wonderful day. We are very happy that you thought of us and presented these souvenir jerseys to us.
“This is an invitation into the Amazons that is gladly accepted.
“Going forward, I am going to be present at your games, especially at the Lafia venue.
“I count on my brother and Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Youth and Sports, Chief Barr. Isaac Danladi, to keep me informed about the dates of your games so I can make myself available.
“Thank you very much for this recognition. We are very proud of the beautiful job you are doing with the Amazons.
“We pray that the Club will rise higher and higher and higher in Jesus’ Name!”
Other Members of the Nasarawa Amazons’ Management on the visit were Team Manager, Smart Kigbu, and Secretary, Oliver Akpoko.
