Napoli is reportedly nearing a deal with Saudi Arabian club Al-Ahli for the transfer of Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen, according to renowned transfer expert Fabrizio Romano.
The long-running transfer saga surrounding Osimhen appears to be approaching its conclusion, with Napoli set to accept a significant offer from the Saudi Professional League side.

Osimhen has a €130 million release clause in his contract and recently submitted a transfer request, signalling his desire to move away from the Italian club.
Napoli has already secured Romelu Lukaku from Chelsea, so they are now looking to cash in on Osimhen and are prepared to accept a bid substantially below his release clause.
Romano reports that Al-Ahli has tabled a package worth over €65 million, and Napoli is close to finalizing the details.
The deal comes after top European clubs such as Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain withdrew from the race to sign the 25-year-old forward, leaving Al-Ahli as the frontrunner.
Despite initially hesitating about a move to Saudi Arabia, Osimhen is now reportedly open to the transfer, provided his conditions are met.
The Nigerian international is demanding a significant salary increase, a permanent transfer (not a loan), and the inclusion of a release clause in his new contract.
Meanwhile, Napoli has plans to reinvest the funds from Osimhen’s potential sale. The club has already reached an agreement with Manchester United to sign midfielder Scott McTominay for around €30 million.
With only one year left on his contract at Old Trafford, McTominay is now negotiating personal terms with Napoli.
As the transfer window edges toward its close, the focus remains on whether Napoli and Al-Ahli will finalize the Osimhen deal, potentially marking another high-profile move to the Saudi Pro League.
