Serie A side Napoli have officially submitted an Chelsea an offer for Romelu Lukaku that would also see Victor Osimhen move to Stamford Bridge as both teams are locked in talks to finalising Swap deal.
The Nigerian forward, Osimhen is fed with football at the Naples and he has not hid his feelings by asking to leave but submitting a transfer request while Lukaku is keen to rejoin Antonio Conte in Napoli.
According to The Times, Napoli have made an offer of £25.6 million for Lukaku and value Osimhen at £90m ( 10 million pounds of his transfer buy out clause ).
Talks and Negotiations are expected to continue until a deal is agreed as Chelsea are said to also value Lukaku at £40m.
One big issue is Lukaku’s wages as the striker earns £325,000 a week at Chelsea and a pay cut is imminent if he has truly made up his mind of linking up with Conte, once again.
Victor Osimhen scored 15 goals in 25 games for Napoli in Serie A last season, while Lukaku netted 13 in 32 while on loan at Roma in the Italian top flight.
The Italian Serie A and English Premier League 2024/2025 season will begin this weekend as both Chelsea and Napoli are looking forward to bolstering their squad ahead of the new season.
