The Nigeria Association for Physical and Health Education, Recreation Sports, and Dance (NAPHER-SD) has announced the nominees for its 25th Annual Conference and Award Ceremony.
Notable sports personalities nominated for the State Sports Personality of the Year Award include:

Festus Owojero (Director General,Delta state sports commission).
Azuka Chiemeka(Head of Sports, Delta Broadcasting service,Warri).
Neville Ambekederemo( Chairman, Warri Wolve Fc).
Tosan Blankson (Former Coach of Delta Queens FC) and other notable names in the world of sports.
The event will take place on Thursday at 11 am at the Oleh Campus of Delta State University.
The conference theme is “Resilience through Sports, Health, and Physical Education: Addressing Economic Challenges and Promoting National Development”. Renowned university professors and dons will deliver talks.
Special Guests of Honour will be Governor of Delta State, RT. Hon. Sheriff Oborewovori, and Senator Joel-Onowakpa.
