This highly anticipated event offers a staggering prize of up to N25 million for the eventual champions.
Eight esteemed teams are participating in the tournament, including Enyimba of Aba, the reigning league champions, and Remo Stars, the runners-up.
The other contenders are Rivers United, Lobi Stars, Akwa United, Yobe Desert Stars, Sporting Lagos, and Katsina United.
The inaugural match features a thrilling clash between Enyimba and Remo Stars, scheduled to kick off at 4:30 p.m. Excitement fills the air as football enthusiasts eagerly anticipate witnessing the intense competition.
Organizers have revealed that each club participating in the tournament will earn N3 million per match during the group stage. Semifinalists will receive an additional N3 million, while the runners-up and winners will secure N9 million and N25 million, respectively.
For football fans unable to attend the matches in person, SuperSport Football (DStv 205 & GOtv ch 61) will provide live broadcasts, ensuring that no one misses out on the action.
Flykite Productions, the organizers of the event, have promised not only top-notch football but also live music performances by prominent Afrobeats artists.

Jenkins Alumona, the Chief Executive Officer of Flykite Productions, expressed his enthusiasm for the tournament, stating, “The play-off at the Eket Township Stadium has given us a taste of what to expect at the Lagos finals. Over the course of 10 days, we will witness spectacular football displays from the Naija Super 8 teams.”
Alumona further highlighted the carnival-like atmosphere that will accompany the competition.
Each matchday will feature a live performance by an Afrobeats artist, with notable names such as Portable, 9ice, Daddy Showkey, Lil Kesh, Pheelz, Bella Shmurda, Peruzzi, and Crayon scheduled to take the stage.
Additionally, fans will have the opportunity to indulge in refreshments from various stands around the stadium, courtesy of tournament sponsors Pepsi and Hero Lager.
