Sports247 interviewed Kenneth Ogbuagwu, Coach of team South East following their match against team South West which culminated in team South East conceding 1-0.
He anticipated his players would emerge and astonish all opponents in the competition. As he stated, “This is the inaugural zonal amputee championship and I expected my team would shock every other side and demonstrate we are genuinely invested in the tournament though we ultimately lost to team South West after extra time.
Team South East drew their opening match and lost the subsequent match so they were highly anticipating victory in this semi-final contest.
Coach Kenneth conveyed he is exceptionally proud of his players as they competed admirably until the final whistle and even in extra time, though the match-winning goal was scored with two minutes remaining. He is optimistic they would claim third place in the match final.
