North Central Chimaobi Michael, a man that’s so positive and maybe a little sees what the future holds will still be buzzing in excitement as his prediction for gold in the NAFF Zonal Championship 2023 finally comes to fruition.
North Central defeated South West yesterday in the zonal championship finals on penalties with the striker scoring the last and decisive kick of the game as he makes history with his side by wining gold.
Talking to Sports247.ng before the final match between Team North Central vs Team South West, North Central player Chimaobi Michael was confident that his team would triumph in the championship.
He proclaimed, “Victory shall be ours. What I mean is the cup, the pinnacle shall be ours. We are the champions of the ultimate triumph.”
Anticipating the match, he declared he looked forward to scoring more goals in the final contest. “I eagerly anticipate notching more tallies as I believe if we amass more goals, the trophy shall be ours.”
Chimaobi expressed gratitude to the organizers and affirmed the event succeeded in convening many other amputee teams that participated in the championship from diverse parts of Nigeria and if we’ll nurtured, there would be ample benefits to be reaped.
In conclusion, his message to the sponsors of the event was “I appreciate the organizer, thanks to them and may they continue to institute such competitions for us.”
