North West Coach, Mohammed El-hammed has credited his team’s brilliance and success at the ongoing NAFF Zonal Amputee Football Championship to maximum level of preparedness as he eyes gold.
North East are the highest scoring side in the competition that has six geo-political zones which includes North West, North-Central, South-West, South-East and South-South having scored six (6) goals in two matches, no other side has more.
“It’s all down to preparation and understanding among the team. We charge them to do very well in every game and give their best like it’s their last, in the two games, they have played as instructed,” he stated of the secret behind the team’s success in an exclusive interview with Sports247.ng.
“They boys are so united and they don’t joke with the training in our zone and it’s not like we have been participating in any competition, we just train and get that level of maximum preparedness for such a championship as this.”
“We have trained two to three months before traveling down here to Lagos and now we have a spot in the final and by the grace of God which has helped us far to this stage, He will see us through to the end,” he emphasized.
