President of the Nigeria Amputee Football Federation, Paul Maduakor can’t get over his excitement off the just concluded ‘Kick For Love’ game put together by the Federation to the players busy and to preach the message of love to Nigerians.
Maduakor hailed the female amputee’s category for their grit, strength and doggedness in the match that took place within the team which also serves as a gauged game to determine the progress and standard of the team.
“It was an awesome feeling, the experience is second to none, a lot of energies displayed on the pitch of play, so much action,” he said of the in-house game.
“Merging the male with the female in the game is a step towards progress, you can see the amazons on the field of play, they marched the male counterparts ball for ball.”
“It shows that what a man can do, a woman can do better as we are giving them that opportunity to be able to score them and know our full fledge female amputee football in Nigeria,” he explained.
The organizers allayed that it seeks to bring together business executives, religious and youth leaders, entertainers, and people from various fields of human endeavor for a joint effort for societal change.
