The president of Nigeria Amputee Football Federation, NAFF Mr Paul Maduakor on behalf of the federation has extended his condolence to victims and thier families following the Syria, Turkey earthquake outbreak which has claimed a lot of lives and some still under the rubbles yet to be pulled out.
The unfortunate events struck early February and has rendered so many people homeless, physically damaged.
Syria have been hit with harsh cold which has claimed lot of lives respectively, a tragedy with gory details and images, it’s such a sad and helpless situation.
“It’s a shock, a very disheartening, painful occurrence to everyone and to the world at large both in Turkey where they witnessed more death and the tragic earthquake claiming lives and property,” Paul Maduakor mourned.
According to reports, four Amputee footballer from the Malatya Metropolitan team in Cameroonian Nkam Elvis, Hamed Matroudi, Mehadi Seadavi and Mohamed Ahmdi from Iran lost their lives in the course of the earthquake.
They alongside thier families were part of the casualties recorded at the hotel in Malatya Metropolitan collapse in Gaziantep.
“We pray for thier departed soul, that they may find rest as the Lord gives strength and fortitude to the family to bear this untimely and unexpected loss,” he prayed.
