Former Super Eagles player, Emmanuel Amunike has said that he wishes to see Nigerian football grow in upcoming years after turning 50 years yesterday (Christmas Day).
The former Barcelona attacker said this, in a chat with Sports 247 yesterday, after he marked 50 years yesterday, admitting that his desire is to see his country’s football grow in future years to come.
“My wish is to see the game of football grow in Nigeria in the coming year”, he said.
The former Super Eagles attacker was always linked to the Super Eagles job as a replacement for Gernot Rohr, before the German’s contract was extended.
Emmanuel Amunike Was The Coach of the Golden Eaglets that won the FIFA U17 World Cup in Chile, as well as the Coach of the Tanzanian National team that qualified for the African Cup of Nations (AFCON) in Egypt in 2019.
