Former West African Super Middleweight Champion, Bob Alagoro has admitted that due to his love for the game of Boxing, he was being chased out by his uncle, as he speaks ahead of his exhibition match, which is slated for April 10th, where he looks forward to the development of his boxing academy in Lagos.
Bob Alagoro is a 63-year-old former Nigerian boxer as well the former National heavyweight champion, he is undefeated throughout his career up till his retirement from the beautiful game of Boxing.
The retired boxer who used his boxing paycheque to take care of the motherless baby home speaks about his exhibition match in Lagos, which he intends to use, in order to promote his boxing academy.
The amazing boxing stated his intentions to Sports247 that he plans to have a press conference very soon, calling on different Media and sponsors to support his course, so as to enhance the development of the youth.
“I am calling on the Government and great men in the society to support my course in boxing, so as to promote boxing and enhance the development of the youth through my academy”, he said.
While still speaking with Sports 247, the 63-year-Old, undefeated boxer admitted that due to his love for boxing, his uncle sent him away from home, which never discouraged him, but instead motivated him in his boxing career.
“Because of my love for boxing, my Uncle sent me away from his house, but I was not discouraged, instead it motivated me to do more and further my boxing career.
One of the promoters of the exhibition match, which the amazing boxer plans to hold on April 10, 2020, Jack Boxer promotion based in the United States of America (U.S.A) will be promoting the boxing exhibition, which will feature some upcoming boxers on the same card.
