*Declares Himself As The ‘Coach Of Coaches’ After Helping His Team Claim Victory Against MS Success FC
President of Utility Sports FC, Coach Lawal Abiodun has expressed the delight of his team picking up all three yesterday at the Agege Stadium, as they defeated MS Success Fc 3-0 to gain their first win of the Champions Cup competition in Match Day 3.
President of Utility Sports FC took charge of the team, in place of Coach Sunday Ilevbare, who went on a Coaching Course.
Speaking with Sports247 after his side’s 3-0 victory over MS Success, President Lawal expressed his happiness towards his side claiming their first 3 points of the tournament and playing to his instructions yesterday, unlike the previous two matches they had played in the competition, under their coach. He also described himself as the ‘Coach of Coaches’.
“It is based on the attitude of the boys, their hunger is not there, they are in the mood of the festive period, so on Tuesday I decided to ginger them”.
“I know these boys very well, the way I talk to them, I am the one that recruited them, I know them better than the Coach. I can say, I am not a coach, but I am a ‘Coach of Coaches’ because I know the game, he said.
The President also talked about his team’s sponsors, who has been tutoring and providing for the team, saying that the Sponsors will continue their Goodwill provision for the team.
“The Sponsor is ‘Dream to Realty Management & Entertainment Company’. They have been doing wonderfully well. They have been tutoring the team, taking care of our needs and they are going to provide a lot of things for the team, like accommodation for the players, basic needs, kits and total control of the finances”. They are the Sponsors of the team and I am the Director”, he said.
When being asked about his vision for the club, rLawal Abiodun responded by saying that he dreams of at least 15 of his players playing for top club sides in Europe, before 2022.
“My vision is to see at least see 15 of my players before 2022, playing for top clubs, because I have been wanting to impact on my players, I always want to make sure they become something in Life because Football is an avenue to put food on your table, as well as make you a sudden Millionaire, as long as you are gifted in the game”, he said.
Utility Sports FC are 3rd in the Group A standings and out of the Champions Cup tournament, amassing 3 points in the group after Match Day 3 (2 Loss and a Win).
